Terms of use

Article 1. Purpose

These terms of use govern access to and use of restaurantratn.com, published by SARL Baba Ji (hereinafter “RATN”). By browsing the website or sending a booking request, the user accepts these terms.

Article 2. Access to the website

The website is available free of charge at all times, except in the event of maintenance, updates or force majeure. RATN cannot be held liable if the website is unavailable or if a malfunction is caused by the internet network or the user’s equipment.

Article 3. Booking requests

The website form allows users to send a booking request. Sending a request does not constitute a booking: the table is only booked once the restaurant has confirmed it, by phone or email. An automatic acknowledgement confirms that the request has been received, without confirming the table.

The user agrees to provide accurate information, in particular their name, phone number and email address, so that the restaurant can contact them.

If the user is unable to attend, they are asked to inform the restaurant as soon as possible on +33 1 40 70 01 09. After 15 minutes’ delay without notice, the restaurant may release the table.

Private hire requests are handled individually and, where applicable, are subject to a separate quote.

Article 4. Menu, prices and allergens

The menu and set menus shown on the website are for information only and may change with the seasons and availability of produce. Prices are shown in euros, including all taxes and service. The prices that apply are those displayed at the restaurant on the day of the meal. Cheques are not accepted.

The list of allergens in each dish is available on request at the restaurant, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011. Allergies and intolerances may be mentioned in the booking request and must be reported to the staff on the day of the meal.

Article 5. Intellectual property

All content on the website (texts, photographs, logo, RATN brand, visual identity, layout) is protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction, representation or distribution, in whole or in part, without RATN’s prior written consent is prohibited and constitutes infringement (Articles L. 335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code).

Article 6. Liability

RATN endeavours to keep the information on the website (opening hours, menu, prices) up to date but cannot guarantee its accuracy at all times. If in doubt, users are invited to contact the restaurant.

Article 7. External links

The website contains links to third-party services, in particular Google Maps for directions. RATN has no control over these services and accepts no liability for their content or their use of personal data.

Article 8. Personal data

Data collected on the website is processed in accordance with the privacy policy.

Article 9. Changes to the terms

RATN may amend these terms at any time. The applicable version is the one published on the website when the user browses it or sends a request.

Article 10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action. Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts shall have jurisdiction.

This English version is provided for convenience; in the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
